LHRIC Tech Expo PLTW Presentation

A group of Irvington administrators and technology teachers presented on the district’s Project Lead the Way work at the Lower Hudson Regional Information Center Tech Expo on April 8th, 2016. The presenters were Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Human Resources Dr. Raina Kor, Director of Technology and Chief Information Officer Jesse Lubinsky and teachers Gwenn Carney, Diana Cassidy, Patsy Costabile, Marcus Oates and Christine Rosner. Both student work and an array of accomplishments were presented at the expo as a window into the tremendous STEM experiences that are afforded to Irvington students. Workshop attendees were impressed by the work in Irvington and were eager to see how they could match our local efforts in their school communities. This comes on the heels of multiple visits by outside groups to witness our STEM program. These visits have included all curriculum leaders from the region and another observation by a local school district.
