Dr. Chris Landon is CEO of the Technology Development Center Laboratories & Studio. Dr. Landon serves CareThings as Chief Medical Officer. Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, Landon received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Stanford University Hospital and a fellowship in allergy, immunology and respiratory diseases at the Children’s Hospital at Stanford.Dr. Chris Landon is Director of the Pediatric Diagnostic Center, a pediatric multi-specialty referral clinic dedicated to treating children with every-day health problems as well as those needing specialized care. Landon is Director Of Pediatrics at the UCLA affiliates Family Medicine Residency and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UCLA.

Landon has been actively involved in medical diagnosis and teaching utilizing telemedicine for three decades. Initially funded through USDA and Blue Cross rural telemedicine grants Landon now oversees the local California Telehealth Network implementation and the Hospital Escuela implementation in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Landon established local telemedicine teaching for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training program at California State University Long Beach and is working with CHLA to establish tele-ophthalmology services.

Dr. Landon’s research interests have led to device development for remotely observed therapy and diagnosis with the Vivometrics LifeShirt, expanded uses of medical devices across disease states with the Hill-Rom VEST, and an increased awareness of the effects on patients and families of new therapies.

Through the Landon Pediatric Foundation, a nonprofit corporation benefiting the health of underserved children, medical services are provided, medical education, support of recreational activities, and research leading to healthy eating and active living.
