Mayor’s Award Roger Neth

Former Costa Mesa Police Chief was presented the Mayor’s Award at the February 2, 2016 City Council meeting. Roger was an instrumental figure in the formative years of the Police Department, bringing innovative technology and other best practices to the CMPD. Not only was he one of the first three officers hired by the City, but he is credited as being the very first officer on patrol. And with 22 years at the helm of the Department, Roger is Costa Mesa longest tenured Police Chief.”
