BP deployed an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) technology at Prudhoe Bay, marking the first time the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted permission for UAS routine commercial services over land in the United States. The UAS technology has potential to improve safety, efficiency and the reliability of BP’s Alaska North Slope infrastructure and maintenance programs.
