John Halamka Gives Health IT a ‘B-‘

John Halamka, chief information officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, gave the health information technology effort a “B-,” in a talk at the AMDIS/HIMSS Physicians’ IT Symposium. Part of the reason an “A” was not given was because of quality measurement and reporting gaps.
