Dangerous Levels of Chloroform & Other Chemicals Found in Bathtubs/Showers #FlintWaterCrisis – Water Defense
There is much more than lead in the water in Flint, Michigan. While Michigan’s Department of Environmental Quality and other authorities have focused primarily on lead leaching into drinking water, outbreaks of Legionnaires’ Disease, accounts of water that irritates skin, and other afflictions point to contamination beyond just lead. Even as bottled water and filtration devices are handed out, families are still being exposed to tainted water through showers, baths, and other unfiltered sources. Water Defense announced that its field investigation team found additional harmful chemicals in Flint waters.
