Time lapse video of me cutting out the Pelican 1660 foam to fit a DJI Inspire 1 UAV.
The case that comes with the DJI Inspire 1 is great. It’s nice and small and very well designed. It can hold everything you need and plenty of batteries. However, it requires that you remove the gimbal, convert it into the “transport” mode, and remove all the props. For local use and when I have space I wanted a case where I didn’t need to do all this. The Pelican 1660 case allows me to transport the Inspire 1 with the landing gear down, camera/gimbal on, and the front props on.
