Concrete2015 – TSMR (Helix Micro Rebar) Presentation with Luke Pinkerton

Luke Pinkerton, Founder of and Chief Technology Officer for Helix Steel presented at Australia’s Concrete2015 conference on the 31st of August 2015.

Challenging the audience to question why we give up on the concrete so easily, Luke presented the proactive reinforcement offered by Twisted Steel Micro Reinforcement (TSMR).

TSMR increases the Modulus of Rupture, the splitting tensile strength and the strain at first crack of concrete. It also provides a stable stress strain response post crack just like rebar.

The only available TSMR product is Helix Micro Rebar. Engineers can design with Helix Micro Rebar using an ISO Guide 65 Evaluation Report which covers structural tension and shear.
